Bio:

Mazare is the most seasoned veteran among the soldiers Barathus rescued from slavery. He is no longer young, but looks even older. Wrinkles and patches of grayed hair cover his face, enhancing the impression of a stressed old man.

Mazare is disappointed in himself, feeling that he hasn’t really achieved anything in his life. He’s angry, badmouthed and needlessly onerous. People often see him bullying the recruits or just cursing to himself. Regardless of this, he is a skilled commander and archer.

It’s a running joke among the soldiers of the keep that Mazare has never laid a woman without monetary compensation. It is rather unwise to tell this joke to his face.
