Bio:
Sallust was a childhood friend of Tyrus and the youngest son of a fellow merchant. He studied with him through all of his early life. Both chose to enter the university as young men and equally enticed of the possibility of learning forbidden knowledge.
However, Sallust showed more restraint in his hobby and chose not to succumb fully. He mostly discarded the study of the occult after Tyrus was exiled, and only knows a handful of spells from divination and hypnotism. He also managed to keep the trail of the investigation off his back and was not caught when Tyrus was exiled into the army. It is said that his family was aware of the circumstances, but that Sallust’s father was more lenient and let the matter slide. Whether sorcery had anything to do with this decision is unknown, but regardless, Sallust soon finished his studies and graduated as a lawyer.
While physically weak and of short stature, Sallust is an exceptionally good student of sharp wit. He is sly, ambitious and far-sighted – well aware of his goals and his chances of reaching them. This gives him an imposing appearance in his fields of excellence.
He actually enjoys politics, scheming and planning, making the arrangement convenient in more than one way. The way he sees it, his status as the caretaker not only provides him with a good source of income, but also with a wholesome package of both purpose and entertainment.
Outside of his work and other passions, Sallust tends to practice origami, string figures and miniature sculpting. He is dexterous with his hands.
